Born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario, George attended Centennial College and received an Accounting Diploma. He started his career in the banking industry as a Financial Planning Manager and transitioned to become an entrepreneur in 1993.
At the age of 23, George opened a successful Mr. Sub franchise with his brothers Steve and Jim. With a strong entrepreneurial background, George decided to enter into the insurance broker industry as a Managing Partner for Youngs Insurance Brokers, and is now running a successful office in Stouffville Ontario. His highly diverse product offering includes virtually all types of insurance. George is a family man, married to Vicki for over 20 years and they share 2 wonderful boys. He loves spending his off time in the arenas watching his sons playing hockey.
